'Based firmly within the domestic yet occupying a liminal space between reality and phantasy I explore how catastrophe and the unsaid affirms or denies identity.''
Henry Davis, artist
In 1993 Henry moved to London and began working in the Film and
Television industry in the Art Department, obtaining an M.A. in Design for Film
and Television at Kingston University in 1998.
After a somewhat tangential career move of owning and running a Hoxton
pub for 5 years Henry re-established his art practice in a studio in New
Cross. He graduated with a first in Sculpture from UAL (Camberwell) in 2016.
Soon after the pandemic and very much as a result Henry moved to
Burnham on Crouch, a coastal village in Essex.
